This auction is for a vintage childrens book titled: OLD-FASHIONED FAIRY TALES, from London, U.K. Copyright 1955, Illustrated by Gertrude Mittelman and Graham Robertson, published by G. Bell & Sons. This vintage book contains 18 famous English Fairy Tales that were fairly uncommon to America, especially when first published in 1912. See CONTENTS for the list of stories. There are also 5 full page illustrations and many small ones all originally drawn in 1912. This hardback book is in mint condition with no writing, no rips or tears, no folds or creases, no loose or missing pages and it is still well bound. There are just a few small stains to the outer edges of the book that do not affect the pages themselves. The dustcover shows a few chipped edges on one corner and top and bottom of the spine. This book measures 7 1/4" by 5 1/4" and is 3/4" thick with 120 pages.
