(Please let me combine auction wins to save ME some money! Most of The Baby Snooks episodes are under 10 minutes long. They were the Snooks segment of a longer show. HISTORY: You'll love this one...Fanny Brice had teeth problems for most of her life. One day she arrived for a rehersal for Ziegfield Follies of the Air without her dentures. And without them, she couldn't speak properly. Brice had done a baby routine at parties, so the director suggested she do that on the air. A script was quickly fashioned from a book of public domain sketches ( I just LOVE public domain stories...) and Baby Snooks was born. Brice died five days after suffering a cerebral haemorrhage on May 24, 1951, just six weeks before her planned retirement. Frank Morgan (the Wizard from OZ) was the first to play Daddy. In 1945 Brice was too ill to do her show. So they had a search for the missing Snooks, with guest stars appearing to help with the search. As for The Aldrich Family.....Coming Mother!!! These shows are from my personal collection and I believe them to be in public domian. I ship by first class mail. Each CD is in its own paper sleeve.
